My boss is so not with it!

Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post. I love Inuyasha and am especially attracted to his teeth. Yes, I have a teeth fetish.

Anyway, my boss here at work saw my desktop wallpaper, its of course of Inuyasha. She said something to the affect of "she's really pretty". I just nodded and knew there was no point in explaining to her that Inuyasha is a guy. Then my boss asked who she was. I said its just anime. Again, I didnt want to go into an explanation. Then she asked who anime was. WTF?! I told her its a Japanese style cartoon. She looked like a deer in the headlights. She had never even heard the term before. Is that possible? Could you possibly live on this planet and have never heard of anime???

A few nights ago I went out to dinner with a couple people who have *been to Japan* but didn't know what anime was!!!! lol

ditto i know what you mean and see why tell poeple who have no idea what anime is and then tell them that inuyasha is a guy and all.and when people try to mock me they say his name wrong like inuwasha instad of inuyasha.i told them if they were going to mock me say his name right atleast you know.

oohh ohhhh I am ooh oohhing!!!!! Yeah I have had the same experience... I draw anime... like fanart.. Inuyasha, Ranma.. SailorMoon ect.. anyway.. they always come up to me and say something along the lines of, "Wow... she is very pretty" or something like that.. and then I try to explain to them that Inuyasha is a guy...They are like "O-kay... " then I go, "Its one of them Japanese anime's" then they are like, "....." and walk away...

And then I have people who do pronounce Inuyasha's name wrong.. and I hate it when they do that...

And I hate it when they insult Anime in general by saying that they don't like the stuff... and if they don't like the stuff, then why are you near me and watching me draw it then..... O.o god people can be so stupid a times... you know....

I so call have this friend that always called anime: "Anigay.." WTF he is the one that is gay... >.> least I have something better to do then get laid....>.> sorry.. I am just so mad at him....

Yeah... grrr *hits the YTV announcer with my plastic Tessaiga* for always saying "Inuasha" and "Iniyusha". Grrrr....

I draw fanart too. All the time. Once, in school, I was drawing Koga and this random guy was watching me and i heard him tell his friend, "I'm waiting to see if she draws his crotch." WELL.

AND I have to deal with those people who are always telling me InuYasha is for losers/babies/idiots. And the ones who thing Inu and Sesshy are girls. And that Inu is a cat.

Not suprised in the least. My sister saw my Inuyasha chibi key chain on my review mirror and asked, "Why do you have a weird looking girl hanging there" I said "Its not a she," and she goes, "What is it, a squirrel?"
I told her to never mind.....
